O. P. Jindal School is a brainchild of Shri Naveen Jindal Ji, Chairman, Jindal Power Ltd – a young man of dynamic temperament and didactic expertise who accomplished the cherished dream of his father- Late Shri Om Prakash Jindal Ji popularly known as Babuji – a famous industrialist, philanthropist, politician, leader and , in sum, a man who has touched the pinnacle of success winning the most coveted “Life Time Achievement Award” for his outstanding contribution to the Indian Steel Industry.
Possessing the noble mantra “Where other saw walls, he saw door”, and being a social reformer and social servant, Late Shri O. P. Jindal Ji pioneers many charitable trusts, hospitals, schools and colleges in his home states as well as all over the country and has built himself as an exemplary model of a selfless man with innumerable social charitable services and philanthropic contribution. Being the son of such a noble soul, Shri Naveen Ji has devoted himself to the Corporate Social Responsibility(CSR) philosophy laid down by his father and has been pioneering many schools, colleges, hospitals, trusts and charitable organizations.
O.P.Jindal school, Savitri Nagar is one among many Jindal Schools that have been the outcome of the noble thought of Shri Naveen Jindal Ji and the blessing of Late Babuji. His objective behind opening this school is to cater best quality Education to the children of Jindal Power Ltd as well as neighbouring Villages, with all modern technologies, infrastructure, highly qualified, trained and well experienced faculty members (chosen across the country) endowed with up to date knowledge on recent trends in Education and developments in teaching methodologies, material and curriculum.
The school had its humble beginning on 13 July 2006 at a residential flat in Savitri Nagar Colony only with 22 students.
The school, in these few years, has witnessed tremendous growth in its strength, infrastructure, Academy, Non- academy, creating a first-rate name in the vicinity and among JPL employees.
And it has been possible with the nourishing care and guidance of Shri Naveen Ji. He has always been painstaking enough to achieve the set objectives behind opening the quality school and thereby extends support, guidance, suggestions or anything and everything the school has required for its growth; in concrete or abstract.
